Grace’s Approach

I believe therapy should evolve with you. Therefore, I meet you where you are and help you to forge a path towards your optimum well-being. I practice from an Existential- BIPOC - Humanistic lens. The integration of Evidenced-based therapeutics, Client-driven identities, and Mindful radical acceptance ground my praxis.

About Grace

In these unsettling times, Grace imparts a warmth and generosity that is quite needed in the therapeutic environment. Feeling isolated or misunderstood, Grace welcomes you to begin the therapeutic process with curiosity and become open to the possibilities of what could be.

Grace’s approach stems from an Existential-BIPOC-Humanistic lens. That approach emphasizes how important it is in finding and valuing your authentic narrative is crucial to the collaborative process. Grace believes that each of us holds the key to our personal uniqueness and personal flourishment.

Through the integration of Evidenced-Based Expansive Therapy and decolonizing principles, Grace’s psychotherapeutic approach aims to deconstruct your old narratives to delicately form a more sustainable personal perspective on the complexities of gender and sexual identities. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Grace appreciates how navigating through hetero-normative environments may increase your stress.

If you ever felt you were more than your mental health condition and held a deep desire to feel truly empowered in your personal story, then join Grace in an inclusive, judgment-free, and safe space. As a Trauma-informed care therapist, Grace recognizes how complex trauma can reside in the body and that processing trauma can lead to a healthy outcome.

As such, Grace believes life can and should be a wondrous journey. So, if you are experiencing Anxiety, C-PTSD, or depression, they welcome you to find a world beyond your mental health condition and open yourself to your wondrous path, bringing your unique narrative to life.
