Whitney’s Approach

As a dedicated and compassionate therapist, I specialize in trauma and have extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), inner child work, and attachment-based theories. My approach to healing involves looking at each part of a person, acknowledging the complexities and unique experiences that shape their lives.

ABOUT Whitney

I understand that embarking on a healing journey requires courage and motivation. I work with those who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or difficulties in relationships, but are determined to understand and heal their past wounds. They seek a compassionate and supportive environment where they feel heard and validated, and their goals include building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and developing healthier relationships. They want to reclaim their sense of self and find inner peace.

With over a decade of experience, I have dedicated myself to supporting adults on their mental health journey. I hold certifications in EMDR, DBT, and dual diagnosis treatment, equipping me with the skills to address a variety of therapeutic needs. I believe healing is a collaborative journey, and as your guide, I support and empower you to explore and understand your inner world. My person-centered approach places you as the expert of your own experience. Together, we will create a safe, nurturing space to foster growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Let's embark on this journey together, and find the path to healing and inner peace.

In addition to providing therapy, I also offer supervision for LPC associates in Oregon. I am passionate about mentoring and supporting emerging therapists as they develop their skills and grow in their professional journey. My goal is to create a supportive and enriching environment for mental health professionals to learn and thrive.
