About Michelle
Hello! My name is Michelle Deeg-Davis. I focus my private practice on supporting the healing journey and empowerment of trauma survivors. My commitment to trauma-informed care extends to educating new counselors. I enjoy teaching trauma-informed counseling principles in my role as an Assistant Professor of Counseling at George Fox University. I have 15 years of experience in both clinical mental health and school counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State.
I am passionate about supporting teen and adult trauma survivors. I am committed to establishing a therapeutic relationship of safety and trust in which you can explore, heal, and experience growth and resilience. I am trained in various modalities to support this journey, including EMDR, Somatic Internal Family Systems, and Structured Sensory Interventions.
I understand the vulnerability of seeking support and bringing what may seem like darkness into the light. I am here to walk with you and assure you that you are not alone in the healing process. It is my foundational belief that resilience is built in the experience of positive and healthy relationships.
